Supervisor

Location: Hamilton
Position Type: Full-time
Start Date: November 1st, 2026

Orange Seeds Montessori Centre is currently seeking a passionate and caring Montessori Teacher to join our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the day-to-day operations of the centre, reporting to the Program Director

    • Ensure a consistently high-quality Montessori program aligned with organizational standards and the direction of the Program Director

    • Ensure compliance with the CCEYA, licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and centre policies

    • Oversee staffing, scheduling, ratios, classroom coverage, and daily operational needs

    • Lead, mentor, and support educators while fostering a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture

    • Monitor classroom practices, program delivery, documentation, and overall quality of care

    • Build positive relationships with families and address questions or concerns professionally and promptly

    • Support staff onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development

    • Maintain required licensing, staffing, health and safety, and administrative records

    Requirements:

    • Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

    • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a licensed child care setting in a leadership role

    • Montessori training (AMI/MACTE) or Montessori experience is a strong asset

    • Strong knowledge of the CCEYA and Ontario child care licensing requirements

    • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

    • Valid First Aid/CPR

    • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
