Montessori Philosophy

At Orange Seeds Montessori in Oakville and Beyond, our Montessori daycare and preschool programs support each child’s development and help them discover their natural talents and interests. Children learn hands-on, and their learning includes practical life activities.

Fine Motor Skills

At Orange Seeds Montessori, we provide sensory and environmental materials for little learners to tackle everyday tasks and stimulate learning. Those tasks involve grasping, holding, and pressing to develop their fine motor skills.

Gross Motor Skills

We encourage gross motor skills through outdoor play, sports and activities that involve the whole body. Your child will learn to improve their coordination between their muscles and neurological system. We have a brand new playground just for our children.

Communication Skills

Our Montessori instructors will initiate conversations and ask the children questions to improve their communication skills and vocabulary. In addition, they’ll learn French as a second language. These lessons will help your child learn critical thinking and listening skills, as well as improved memory, concentration, and the ability to multitask.
