Orange Shirt Day

On Orange Shirt Day, we invite everyone to arrive in an orange shirt as we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Throughout the day, our educators will gently introduce the meaning behind this important day through thoughtful conversations, stories, and activities designed for young children. Together, we’ll reflect on kindness, belonging, respect, and the importance of making sure every child feels valued, heard, and cared for.

There’s no better way to celebrate the final day of the school year than in your coziest pajamas! Messy Art Day

Messy Art Day gives the children a chance to explore art on a much bigger scale. Instead of keeping their creativity confined to the paper in front of them, they will experiment with paint, brushes, sponges, rollers, and collage materials as their artwork expands into the space around them. Along the way, they’ll be building important skills such as creativity, problem-solving, fine motor control, and confidence in expressing their own ideas. It will be a fun, hands-on day filled with creative freedom, so families are encouraged to send children in clothing that can handle a little paint and plenty of imagination.

Orange Seeds’ Annual Storybook Adventure

This summer, every week brings a brand-new story to life! During our annual Storybook Adventure, the children will step beyond the pages of a book to explore its characters, settings, and ideas through hands-on activities, creative projects, dramatic play, and meaningful discoveries. Rather than simply reading a story, they’ll experience it—making connections, asking questions, and bringing each tale to life in their own unique way. It’s a wonderful way to spark imagination, nurture a love of literature, and add a little extra adventure to every summer week.

Graduation Ceremony

We are excited to celebrate our CASA students as they take this special step in their learning journey. Graduation is a meaningful moment to look back on how much the children have grown — from their first days in the classroom to the confidence, independence, and curiosity they carry with them today. We are so proud of each child and all the little moments that have led to this milestone. To our graduating families, thank you for allowing us to be part of your child’s early years. We will be cheering them on as they take their next steps!

Father’s Day Celebration

On June 19th, we will be celebrating our wonderful Super Dads and father figures with a special morning at drop-off. The children have been preparing sweet surprises in the classroom, giving them a chance to share their love and appreciation in a way that feels personal and meaningful. We will also have treats waiting to make the morning feel extra special. We hope this small celebration brings a smile to your day and reminds you how much you are loved and appreciated.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent Conference will run from June 15th to June 22nd. It is a valuable time for families and teachers to pause, connect, and look more closely at each child’s experience in the classroom. Throughout the week, teachers will share thoughtful observations about how children are engaging with the Montessori materials, developing independence, building relationships, and growing confidence. These conversations go beyond daily updates; they offer a deeper picture of each child’s progress, personality, interests, and next steps. Most importantly, Parent Conference Week strengthens the partnership between home and school, helping us better understand and support each child.
