Whether you're searching for the perfect daycare, curious about the Montessori approach, or just want a fun way to spend a summer Saturday with your little one, our Open House on August 16th at 10 AM is the place to be. We can’t wait to open our doors to families in the London community and show you around our thoughtfully designed space. Every corner of our centre has been carefully planned to reflect the Montessori philosophy—where children are free to explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. This isn’t just a daycare—it’s a place where curiosity is celebrated, independence is nurtured, and childhood is honoured.
So what can you expect at our Open House? Let’s walk you through it.
Let’s Talk Montessori, Minus the Jargon
We’ll begin our Open House promptly at 10 AM with a presentation that gives you an inside look at who we are and what we offer. This will cover all the important information parents typically want to know—plus a few helpful insights you might not even think to ask!
During the presentation, we’ll introduce you to the Montessori philosophy and explain how we tailor our approach to meet the needs, interests, and unique learning pace of each child. You’ll get a glimpse of how freedom and structure work together in our classrooms to support independence, confidence, and focus.
We’ll also walk you through what a typical day looks like in both our Toddler and CASA classrooms, including routines, types of learning activities, outdoor time, meals, and rest periods.
If you're wondering how enrolment works, we’ll go over that too—explaining the differences between part-time and full-time options, how to secure a spot, and how we thoughtfully transition children into the centre so you and your little one feel supported every step of the way.
There will be time for questions following the presentation, but don’t worry if you can’t make it right at 10 AM. Our team will be available and guiding tours until 2 PM, so you’ll still be able to explore the space and learn more when you arrive.
Tour Our Beautiful New Space
Once the presentation wraps up, our team will be offering guided tours throughout the day. Whether you're new to Montessori or already familiar with it, this is your chance to see our centre in motion and learn how we bring the philosophy to life.
We’ll focus on how the space works and how the different areas of a Montessori classroom come together to support learning. You’ll notice how the rooms are set up to give children both structure and choice—everything from the furniture to the layout has a purpose, even if it feels simple at first glance.
As we move through the centre, you’ll get a real sense of the flow: where children eat, where they rest, where they play, and how we guide them through those transitions during the day. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes feel for what your child’s day might look like—from drop-off to pick-up.
The goal is to give you more than just a look at the space—we want you to leave with a clear understanding of how everything works together to support your child’s development, both practically and meaningfully.
Hands-On Fun for the Kids
Of course, an Open House wouldn’t be complete without something exciting for the little ones!
Children are welcome (and encouraged!) to join, and we’ve prepared a variety of fun and engaging activities that reflect the spirit of our classrooms. Whether your child loves puzzles, pouring, painting, or pretend play, there’ll be something that catches their interest.
We believe the best way to learn about a space is to experience it—and kids will have the chance to interact with Montessori materials, get a feel for the environment, and most importantly, have fun.
And for a bit of extra summer magic… we’re bringing in a balloon house.
Yes, you read that right. Nothing says "summer is still here" like bouncing around in a balloon-filled wonderland. It’s fun, safe, and sure to be a hit with toddlers and parents alike.
